Thank you for entrusting the care of your pet to A Cal Sleep. This document details our Practice Terms and Conditions. If you are unclear I request that you ask for further explanation/clarification if required.
Euthanasia
Pet euthanasia is arranged by appointment only.
Out of Hours Service
The practice DOES NOT operate an out-of-hours service for emergencies. In the case of an emergency you are advised to contact the practice at which you and your pet are already registered with, or other emergency service provider.
Professional Fees and Charges
Quotation of Costs
We will happily provide a written estimate as to the probable costs of the service.
Methods of Payment
Card payment will be taken over the phone at the time of booking. Full payment is taken at the time of booking (no card details are kept). Cancellation more than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a £50 adminstsration fee. Cancellation within 24 hours will incur a fee of 50% of the booking fee. Cancellation o=within two hours of the booking will incur the full fee
Pet Health Insurance
Where services qualify for a pet insurance claim, please be aware that it is your responsibility to settle your account with the practice and then reclaim the fees from your Insurance Company.
Complaints and Standards
We will endeavour to ensure that you never have reason to complain about the standards of service received from our practice. However, if you feel that there is something you wish to complain about, please direct your comments in the first instance to myself I am a great believer in talking issues through with people. Ownership of Records
Case records are the property of and will be retained by the practice. A copy of these can be provided upon request by the owner.
